Car License
Required Documents
in Cyprus

To apply for a car license in Cyprus, you will need the following:

• ID card/passport or Yellow slip (EU) or Pink slip
• Completed TOM7 application form
• Recent colour photograph (size 45×35 mm)
• Fee of €40

If you are not a Cypriot citizen, you need to provide proof of residence and all documents must be original, covering at least six months. Please note that documents in languages other than Greek or English require translation by the Press and Information Office (PIO).

These documents can be:

The applicant’s social insurance analytical situation with a government stamp from either the Social Insurance Services or the Citizen Service Department, OR

At least two of the following documents:

• Utility bills
• Mobile or landline telephone statement
• Official bank account statement (indicating payments made in Cyprus)
• Vaccination card issued in Cyprus
• General Healthcare System (GESY) registration document
